Privacy at GradWatch

GradWatch stores only the information needed to match opportunities, send alerts and organise your applications.

Information we store

Your account email, profile preferences, target employers, saved opportunities, application stages, notes, dismissal feedback, scan history and email-delivery status.

How the information is used

We use it to find relevant early-career opportunities, improve your future matches, send alerts you request, show application reminders and diagnose service failures. We do not sell your personal information.

Services that process information

Supabase provides authentication and the private database. Resend sends and reports the delivery of email alerts. SerpApi supplies public search results used to locate opportunities. Vercel hosts GradWatch and runs scheduled scans.

Retention and deletion

Your information remains while your account is active. You can permanently delete your account and associated GradWatch data from Preferences. Limited operational records may remain temporarily in infrastructure backups or provider logs.

Your choices

You can edit search preferences, pause email alerts, dismiss or restore matches, and delete your account. Contact Support if you need help understanding or removing your information.

Security

GradWatch uses account authentication and per-user database access rules. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so please avoid storing confidential documents or sensitive personal information in job notes.
